Project: Media Repository

"Which folder did I put that logo in?"

Resources such as images, fonts, graphics, logos and icon packs may be required for more than one project. After thinking of ways to keep all media that a team uses regularly collectively in one place, the Media Repository was what I came up with.

The Media Repository runs on a local network and allows team members to each contribute and download media resources which they use regularly. The advantage being that a team can rely on one place for all of their needs such as that photo they required or maybe a diagram they need for a presentation.

Files are able to be tagged and categorised and users are also able to download multiple files as one ZIP Archive.

The site also generates thumbnails for all image files and font previews for font files (similar to those seen on Windows 7 in the Fonts folder).

Other file formats supported include zip, rar, pdf, psd, ai and more.
